Mohammed Al-Maskati
Mohammed Al-Maskati is a Bahraini human rights activist and digital Protection coordinator with Front Line Defenders for Middle East and North Africa. He is the founder of the Bahrain Youth Society for Human Rights (BYSHR), a leading group in the 2011-2012 Bahraini uprising.He spent 17 years defending human rights in Bahrain, the Middle East and North Africa.He was nominated and shortlisted for the Freedom of Opinion and Expression Award by Index on Censorship and He won the Human Rights heroes Award 2018 by Access Now.Member of the Advisory Board Open Technology Fund.
