Since its foundation, 7amleh the Arab Center for the Advancement of Social Media sought to build real and effective partnerships in its field of work with human, media, and community- based civil society institutions, academic and research and all other relevant institutions. Despite the fragmentation of the Palestinian political and social situation, given what the Palestinians suffer from including occupation, the division and other conditions, yet, 7amleh was keen to expand its work throughout historic Palestine. Thus, its partners expanded in accordance to the coverage of its work between the Palestinian community inside Israel, the occupied West Bank, and the besieged Gaza Strip. The forum this year went beyond barriers to provide digital lecture series (Webinar) to outreach the activists and those involved wherever they may be.
We believe that the Palestine Forum for Digital Activism would not have reached its current position today without the concerted efforts of the group of its supporting partner institutions throughout the year. This unique event in Palestine brings together annually 15-20 local and international partners from different regions and majors, to host experts, activists, legal experts, technicians, and workers in the field of digital rights and security to present the latest in this field to the target audience, which is expanding year after year.
